One way lecture is suitable for digital study archives

Today, I had two classroom lecture face-to-face for bachelor students since 14 months after COVID-19 pandemic. The class populations were 78 and 102, mainly senior grade students. These type of classes are tend to be one-way lecture without any conversation between lecturer and students, or among students. It is a place and time as same as watching television or youtube which should be take home or handy devices outside.

So, this time I install a communication content for student doing chatting with next seat and questionnaire result show up at once after they answer in class room.

I always think of onsite classroom is a chance of simultaneous communication among participants sharing same place and same time. If I design lecture in classroom just like television broadcasting style, it wastes the time of participants who are willing to use time for a creative activities in communicating others. 

Of course I do not deny  that style of lecture which is designed to convey knowledge from lecturer to students, but it will be suitable in offsite, un-simultaneous style lecture archives. Basically, onsite class should be held as communication based more than past design in college and university curriculum, and one way lecture should be given in digital study archives as supplement for students who loves active learning.
